" I have been selling chillers for the last 20 years in the hot Arizona climate, and was a little skeptical when I heard how quiet and powerful the new Arctica –titanium chiller was. So, I purchased a_Hp unit and set it up on my 140-gallon show tank to see for myself. Once I received it, my employees and I inspected the unit. The chiller arrived in a colorful box with graphics and technical specs on the box. The Arctica was very slim-line and looked more like a desktop CPU tower than a chiller. It had an operating manual and different size fittings for the easy hook up. So, we plugged it in and were amazed how quiet this thing runs, I could hear the pumps and other equipment on the tank, but could barely hear the chiller. At first, we thought it wasn’t on, but to our amazement the cooling lamp was, and the temperature was starting to drop. The running amps are a lot lower than the American brands and it is off in the morning and turns on during the afternoon. And it doesn’t stay on long before reaching the set temperature. I am a firm believer in this product; it is very well designed on all aspects of function and aesthetics. The Arctica is a quality piece of equipment."
